Fresno, Cali's Clouded Vision, is already coasting into their second year. If you don’t believe us check them out for yourself at myspace.com/cloudedvision. What you will hear is a signature sound that has been established throughout Fresno, and it comes from a young talented man who started the band.
Kevin, the lead guitarist and the founder of the group is a creative college graduate trying to make a dream happen. He is accompanied by a bass player named Jeff - the other member is “the other Kevin”, and he plays the drums. Some may ask “why the name Clouded Vision?”
Well, let us put it this way, the guys know philosophy. Clouded vision, can be taken, or perceived in many ways, but if you thought about it in the right way, you would understand that majority of the world is blinded by a clouded vision. The band has a message, and that message is being heard. Clouded vision isn’t a political, nor a negative group, but a “chill” group. They just want to promote good music, and a great time like anyone else.
The group’s signature sound is displayed on their first demo CD that came out last year. The album is a compilation full of original lyrics and has a garage band feel, although it was professionally produced in a studio. The group does not have single, although it seems as if every song could be one.
Clouded Vision possesses a truly unique sound. The members share a multitude of influences, from the acoustic leanings of Bob Marley, Sublime, Nirvana, to Tupac and E-40. As you can tell the band's influences are very diverse, so expect a change in the new album coming out this fall. It is an independent classic in the making.
