The 12th Annual Sudz in the City will take place at the Box Car Lot located 3 blocks north of Grizzly Stadium on Saturday, May 20, 2006 from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The festival will include more than 50 different microbreweries from across California to choose from, such as Sequoia Brewing Co., Anderson Valley Sierra Nevada, and Full Circle Brewery. “As Chair of Sudz in The city for 2006, I have a few responsibilities- bring great beer, great vendors, and great music. The biggest responsibility is doing well enough that everyone wants to come back next year,” said Sandra Dee Chaney, Downtown Association President.  Those attending will enjoy a commemorative glass with 10 beer tokens to sample California’s finest microbreweries. Attendees will not only enjoy the best microbreweries, but will also enjoy some of the valley’s best music. Entertainment will include music from 40 Watt Hype, Sippy and Old Guzzler, Heavy Weather Band, Straight Up Sinners, and Clouded Vision. Advance tickets are on sale now for $25 at The Downtown Association of Fresno, Sequoia Brewing Company (both locations), Old Town Saloon in Clovis, The Tower Theater, Caffé Fulton, Bobby Salazar’s (on Champlain), Full Circle Brewing, Hooters, Liquor Barn, and Logan’s Roadhouse.
