MMA Veteran Vernon “Tiger” White will face Canadian ECC Lightweight Champion Lew Polley at Wargods “Five” at the Viejas Casino in Alpine, California. Lew Polley, a former American Top Team member and IFL vet, comes to Wargods via Temecula’s Team Quest.
Polley is looking to establish himself as a top contender for Wargods’ vacant Light Heavyweight belt. However, before he can do that he must get past “Tiger” White. “Vernon (White) wants to keep fighting and he is in great shape; meanwhile, Lew (Polley) is an up and comer with incredible strength and talent. Vernon has fought the who’s who in the MMA World, from UFC to Pride, and was the King of The Cage champion for years.
This will be a test for both men and we look forward to keeping them both busy in our organization,” states Marcelo Rivas, promoter for Wargods. Wargods is looking to showcase their new talent and exciting fighters much like was done at “The Valentine’s Eve Massacre”.
