The Fresno State Bulldogs battle the Boise State Broncos starting at 6:30 pm tonight. There are two reasons why this game is fueled with high intensity and a lot of nail-biting; first Boise State is ranked no. 4 in the Bowl Championship Series standings and second, Fresno State and Boise state maintain one of the biggest rivalries in college football history. Both teams have always created a Western Athletic Conference rival showdown and will continue to do that when both teams enter the Mountain West conference over the next years.
Fresno State had a three game winning streak going, hoping to make it four, when the team fell one short against Nevada last week after a fourth quarter touchdown. Many fans are anticipating to get back to winning tonight since the last time the Bulldogs beat Boise State was in 2005.
Pat Hill’s Bulldogs are relying heavily on Running Back Robbie Rouse who continues to “wow” the crowds with the amount of yards he has been gaining in each game. Fans are optimistic that Rouse will make some great plays in tonight’s game to get Fresno State the win they have been desperately seeking.
