Fresno, CA (Sports Network)-
Coming off their top scoring effort of the season, the 21st-ranked Nevada Wolf Pack now set their sights on taking care of the Fresno State Bulldogs in Western Athletic Conference action in California on Saturday night.
Except for a 27-21 loss to Hawaii out in Honolulu in the middle of October, knocking them out of the rankings the first time around, the Wolf Pack have been taking it to the opposition every weekend. Last week the team made a stop in Idaho to challenge the Vandals in conference play and used the opportunity to deliver a knockout blow that finished 63-17. One of the top scoring teams in the nation this year and currently ranked 21st in the most recent BCS standings, Nevada has scored a combined 119 points in the last two outings.
As for the Bulldogs, since they too lost to Hawaii last month, they've rebounded to capture three straight victories, the most recent of those coming against Louisiana Tech on the road last weekend, 40-34. With four games to play FSU has a mark of 4-1 in league action and is already bowl eligible with six victories in eight opportunities.
