Expected to open Late Nov. - Fulton 55

This just in: A new downtown music venue is slated to open as early as late November. Fulton 55 (located at the corner of Fulton and Divisadero) is going to be 7,500 square feet, and will hold about 500 people. The building is two levels, with the upper floor looking down onto the stage. General manager Tony Martin (former GM of Club Fred) hopes to attract shows that would normally pass up Fresno, and wants to model it after the Great American Music Hall in San Francisco. There are going to be bars on both levels, but he wants the main focus to be on the music. He also has plans for a kitchen in the future. Check back for more details as the opening date gets closer!
