The Mad Duck Neighborhood Grill and Taphouse is one you can add to the list of the new burger bars that that have invaded the Fresno/Clovis area. Among places like Eureka Burger and Five Guys Burger and Fries, The Mad Duck is becoming a Fresno/Clovis favorite.  Opened by a family of seven friends who wanted to build a restaurant that seeks the perfect brewhouse atmosphere. I would probably describe Mad Duck as “BJ’S without the pizza” with a great collection of beers on tab and just a tad more upscale than your usual sports bar. The Mad Duck has put together an extensive burger menu to enjoy such as the Lulu burger, a Mediterranean lamb burger or the original Mad Duck Burger, which is only a whopping $3.95!

The idea of the taphouse was to create an atmosphere of where people can enjoy good beer and burgers without breaking their bank, you will be happy to know that no item on the menu is over $11. American craft beers are their specialty at the Mad Duck, so if you are a fan of Blue Moon this is the spot for you! The draft beers will be periodically rotated in order to feature as many good ol’ American beers as possible.  As a customer, you will be surprised the bar has not been taken over by rowdy college students, but is a comfortable place to enjoy whether young or old. The Mad Duck is slowly making its way to becoming a popular hangout and just might beat out its burger rivals.
