Red Zone Sports Grill
Red Zone Sports Grill
Red Zone Sports Grill is a perfect place to to eat, drink, and catch your Fresno State Bulldogs game!

What better way to enjoy a Bulldog football game then at a place called Red Zone Sports Bar and Grill! Red Zone sports bar is a locally owned restaurant/bar that provides customers with a Bulldogs theme feel.  The restaurant is covered with professional sports memorabilia but the thing that I like about this place is the restaurant also displays jerseys and magazine articles of some of Fresno’s famous athletes.

Red Zone is fairly new to the community and is hoping to make its way up in the food chain by becoming a popular local spot. The restaurant is not very big in size and tends to get very busy at the bar especially on game day, so I would suggest getting there before the crowd. Red Zone is showing up the competition by offering great weekly deals and happy hour specials. Some of their deals include two-dollar taco Tuesday, game day drink specials, and 16oz. beers for about $3.50. Televisions all over the restaurant do not let you miss a single play of any game, especially the projector size TV placed strategically in the middle of the bar just to catch your eye.

The food is not overly priced and they don’t try to scam you by charging you eight bucks for about four mozzarella sticks. Red Zone actually has a good menu packed with sandwiches and pastas, and their appetizers list can go on for days. Many people seem to enjoy their wings with a “kickin butt” spicy flavor or their signature Mac-n-Cheese plate. If you are really up to the challenge, you can dare to take on Red Zone’s “defibrillator” a 1-pound burger topped with cheddar-cheese sauce, bacon, beef chili, fried egg, fries, coleslaw, sliced red onions, sliced tomatoes and avocados.Sounds like a heart attack waiting to happen!

If you haven’t tried Red Zone Sports Bar and Grill yet, it is definitely something worth trying. Delicious food with a Fresno feel is a great way to enjoy a Bulldogs game day!
